K-12 Art, Music, and Dance Teacher

General Description

The Art, Music, and Dance Teacher is a professional responsible for delivering the Fine Arts curriculum across all schools. This role requires competence in planning, preparing, and evaluating lessons, ensuring alignment with school and U.S. standards. The successful candidate will maintain an inspiring, safe, and organized learning environment in the Art studio and Music classroom.

• Plan, prepare, and evaluate all lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and U.S. standards for Art and Music.
• Teach, manage, and monitor children in the classroom, overseeing their behavior and well-being.
• Collaborate with division coordinators and Academic Administrators to ensure learning goals are consistently met.
• Implement various teaching techniques to encourage creativity and enthusiasm in student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, including grade books and student portfolios.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child’s academic and overall improvement.
• Attend all required school training, seminars, activities, and meetings.
• Perform administrative duties related to teaching as required.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years full-time teaching experience in an accredited school.
• Language: First language/native fluency in English
• Technology: Proficient in using Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• M.Ed. or B.Sc. + PGCE/equivalent.
• Teaching Credential: A full, internationally recognized teaching certification is required (e.g., B.Ed., U.S. State License, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching the Common Core Arts Standards.
• Training in Child protection and safety.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Starting salary is 35,000+ THB per month (commensurate with credentials and experience).
• Benefits include Housing Allowance, Medical Insurance, Provident Fund, and an Annual Performance Bonus.

Mandatory Screening

• Provide three (3) professional referee contacts (including your current Head of School/Principal). All referees will be contacted.
• A teaching demonstration may be required.
