การเรียนรู้ผ่านธีม (theme-based learning) คืออะไร

Theme-based learning คือเทคนิคการเรียนการสอนที่จะนำหัวข้อหนึ่งมาเป็นธีม และในแต่ละวิชาก็จะสอนทักษะต่างๆ ผ่านธีมที่เลือกไว้ เทคนิกนี้มีข้อดีมากมาย:

ทำให้การเรียนรู้สนุก

นำความอยากรู้อยากเห็นอันเป็นธรรมชาติของน้องออกมาด้วยหัวข้อที่น้องๆ สนใจกันอยู่แล้ว ผสมผสานกับการเรียนรู้แบบลงมือทำ การเรียนการสอนจึงสนุกสุดๆ

เสริมความกระตือรือร้นในการเรียนรู้

ใช้ความอยากรู้อยากเห็นของน้องๆ และกระตุ้นให้พวกเขาอยากจะเรียนรู้เพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับแต่ละธีม

3. ชำระค่าเล่าเรียน

ปีนี้จะเป็นการไปโรงเรียนครั้งแรกของน้อง ผู้ปกครองควรจะช่วยน้องเตรียมตัวสำหรับการไปโรงเรียนอย่างไรบ้าง

ก่อนอื่นก็ต้องขอแสดงความยินดีด้วยนะคะ สำหรับก้าวแรกที่สำคัญของน้อง ในการเตรียมตัวทางโรงเรียนแนะนำให้:

เริ่มใช้ชีวิตเป็นกิจวัตรโดยอิงเวลาตามตารางเรียนของโรงเรียน วิธีนี้จะช่วยให้น้องชินกับการนอนตื่นตรงเวลา หิวในช่วงเวลาที่เหมาะสม ฯลฯ
พูดคุยกับน้องว่าการมาโรงเรียนจะเป็นยังไงบ้าง เราจะได้ทำอะไรบ้าง

ถ้าหากน้องไม่เคยอยู่ห่างจากพ่อแม่มาก่อน ทางโรงเรียนแนะนำให้ค่อยๆ ฝึกเพิ่มเวลาที่น้องจะอยู่ห่างจากคนที่บ้านค่ะ การฝึกฝนตรงนี้จะช่วยบรรเทาความกลัวให้น้องในช่วงวันแรกๆ ที่น้องไปโรงเรียนได้อย่างมากเลยค่ะ

นอกจากวิชาเรียนทั่วไปแล้ว น้องจะได้เรียนอะไรบ้าง

นอกจากวิชาทั่วไปแล้ว ทางโรงเรียนมีจัดให้น้องได้เรียนว่ายน้ำและจะได้เลือกเรียนเทควันโดหรือบัลเล่ต์ค่ะ

ปกติต้องเรียนไปนานเท่าไหร่ น้องจึงจะสามารถสื่อสารเป็นภาษาอังกฤษได้

ในจุดนี้จะไม่มีระยะเวลาที่ตายตัวค่ะ เพราะการพัฒนาทักษะนี้จะต่างกันไปกับนักเรียนแต่ละคน โดยจะขึ้นอยู่กับปัจจัยหลายๆ อย่างเช่น อายุหรือลักษณะนิสัยของน้อง และความมีส่วนร่วมของผู้ปกครองในการช่วยฝึกฝนการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษที่บ้าน ทั้งนี้ทางโรงเรียนอยากให้ท่านผู้ปกครองวางใจว่าเราจะคอยเฝ้ามองการพัฒนาของน้องและจะคอยปรับรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนให้เหมาะกับน้องเพื่อที่เขาจะได้เติบโตและพัฒนาในแบบของเขาเองอย่างเหมาะสม

ทางโรงเรียนใช้วิธีใดในประเมินพัฒนาการของนักเรียน
